Thank you for such a wonderful day on your boat! Your knowledge of the Sanibel/Captiva area kept a group of five women very interested in the history of the islands and more than ready to experience all that the Islands have to offer!  The day on your boat was the highlight of our trip!  We so enjoyed the  ride and guide! I would recommend anyone who spends time in Sanibel/Captiva a day with you as their tour guide!  We had no worries with you and had the time of our lives!  Thanks so much for the most memorable boat ride I have ever taken.  You helped to make my 50th Birthday the best it could be!!  Thanks so much!!

Every year during the spring, four of us bring our Harley motorcycles to south Florida to enjoy the sun and escape the Minnesota weather for ten days. This year we thought we would try some fishing around Sanibel and Captiva.  We got Captain Peter’s name through a friend and he took us out two days. Even though the weather was chilly, we caught lunker sheepshead, trout, pompano and redfish. And, there were dolphin everywhere hanging out with us. We took our catch to the Lazy Flamingo and had an incredible meal.  We’re already planning to fish with Captain Peter again next year.

Along with one other couple, we wanted to spend an afternoon on the waters around Sanibel. Captain Peter boated us over to a great beach where we could just chill out. On our return trip, we spotted some birds diving on bait in the water. Captain Peter pulled out the rods and reels. A short time later, we had six keeper Spanish Mackerel in the boat. Captain Peter filleted them up for us and we had a feast for dinner. All in all, a great day on the water.

My wife and I wanted to experience a different part of Sanibel and Captiva other than their nice beaches. We’d heard about Captain Peter and hired him to take us out for an afternoon. We cruised over to St. James City on Pine Island and hit some very unique and fun restaurants and bars. One of our favorites was at the end of a long interesting channel depicting Old Florida at its best. It was called the Ragged Ass Saloon and there was a band playing terrific blues music. A great way to spend the afternoon! Thank you, Captain Peter!

I’ve fished a lot of places before and even around the Sanibel area in the past. However, until we hired Captain Peter I didn’t know just how good the fishing could be in this area. For two days, we caught our fill of just about every fish imaginable. My arms got tired at the non-stop action. We particularly enjoyed going into the backwater one of the days and getting onto a school of Pompano. We kept what we needed for dinner. Along with three dozen fresh oysters, we ate like kings.
